产品简介：Thomas Pheasant adapted this idea, originally conceived for a client, on a smaller scale for his Paris apartment. An oval form has presence. It reflects light differently, and it rewards figured wood. Here, rippling quarter-cut mahogany flows vertically, in a waterfall effect down the sides, over the main shelf visible through a clear glass top, and down the face of two working drawers. Three tapered legs nod to a clever Paris antique, and all three brass feet are readily visible. This is sumptuous but sturdy sculpture. The Oval Night Table has a moderate footprint, and it can be used with beds and rooms of different sizes. The shape allows it to function like a larger piece, and it permits the owner to move about more easily. Those attributes also make it an excellent side table. The inset glass top offers the sense of a modern curio table.
